The concept of Sustainable Learning revolves around creating inclusive, diverse, and sustainable educational systems by recognizing and bridging non-formal learning methods with formal education. This approach aims to equip young people with green and sustainable skills, preparing them for a more environmentally conscious future with the ultimate goal of empowering young people to thrive in a rapidly changing world. The Sustainable Learning initiative emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and innovation among educators and learners.

Project Outcomes

Research Publications

We will produce research papers that explore green and sustainable skills, the application of non-formal learning methods in diverse educational settings, and strategies for recognizing and validating these learning outcomes.

Validation System

We are developing a robust validation system that will allow green and sustainable skills acquired through non-formal learning to be recognized and validated in both formal and non-formal educational environments.

Educator Toolbox

Our project will provide a comprehensive Toolbox for educators and young learners. This resource will include non-formal learning methods focused on sustainability and guidelines on implementing the validation system within their organizations.

Hybrid Training

We will offer hybrid training programs for trainers working with youth in educational and youth work settings. This training will focus on the practical implementation of non-formal learning methods related to sustainability, equipping trainers to effectively educate the next generation.
